Not gonna lie … this was definitely one of my favorite moodboards to work on so far. After I was done, I decided that I’d very much like to live inside these images and colors – what an elegant little world that would be! It was very refreshing to hear from this client that they wanted to work with a variety of brown tones rather than greys + blacks. I feel like many people ( including myself ) default to greyscale when it comes to neutral colors for copy … so I’m excited to see where we go without it!

I’ve already started doing a little watercolor practice for this project. It’s always fun to step away from the computer and get back to the basics!

Stunning combinations and I totally get what you’re saying about the defaulting to grayscale thing… I’m guilty of it too!

Bre, your mood boards are simply the best! I really like the title of this one: Airy Purple. Captures the essence of all your images and colors perfectly. And oh goodness, I am such a fan of that quote now – so simple and powerful.
