READING this post from Jenn on the Scout blog. It’s all about celebrating the small stuff, challenging yourself, and looking forward to exciting new things. I’m the type of person who never seems to settle and is always wondering “what’s next!” This read was a good reminder to slow down just a little bit.

THINKING ABOUT how I would like this little blog to grow in the coming year. It’s only the fourth week of the new year and I’m already so excited with the beginnings of new columns and exciting new ideas. The design side of this blog has always been a good base, but I would like to continually add a dose of lifestyle, too, here and there.

LOVING this cute ( and free!! ) wallpaper from Joanna of Waterfall Creative. It’s quite possibly the cutest I’ve ever seen, no joke. Plus, my boyfriend’s sister literally just asked me to make a wallpaper of a giraffe, so this will be perfect.

LOOKING FORWARD TO owning a Canon Mark II camera. You see, I haven’t even ordered it yet – but I’m planning on it in the next week or so. I’ve been stalking craigslist and scoring the web for deals. Several talented people I know own this little guy and love it so much. I can’t wait!

  6. Lusi says:

Have you though to buy a Canon 6d? I wanted to buy a Canon 5d II and the seller told me that 6d is a better option because it’s a new model, more advanced.

Yup, I have looked into that one but just don’t want to make that kind of investment yet. I’m planning on getting back into photography, so this should be a great start. :)

When I came across my DSLR I actually found it on Instagram! I was looking at my following feed and saw a picture of it and then found a sweet deal! You never know where you’ll find the best deals:)
