cozy fall layers wishlist

I know some of you are still experiencing hot hot summer weather, but Minnesota has been a bit bi-polar lately and this time … I LOVE IT. I’m ready for fall. Ready to layer it up and go pick some apples. Above are some of the current fall staples on my personal wishlist. I’ve been keeping my eyes open for a nice army green coat for some time now, so hopefully I can get over my frugal self and actually pick out one I like. Same thing with those Frye Boots. I’ve only heard amazing things about that brand and their longevity, so it’s gotta be worth the investment. Overall, I’m just trying to soak in this gorgeous fall like weather we’re currently experiencing, because who knows when that first snowfall will come?? Probably way way too soon.

Who’s still experiencing hot, summer weather?! And why haven’t they invited me to visit them yet?

Kidding, mostly. I’m ready for fall, too, if nothing else than for the wardrobe changes. I just Parisian falls were less rainy. Would love to trade my rain jacket in for an army green coat like the one you’re lusting over.

I didn’t know Parisian falls were so rainy, interesting! Well, I miss Paris. So enjoy it. ;) I’ll try to send some dry weather your way!!

These boots look seriously covet-worthy! – I wish the Bombay weather allowed me opportunities to indulge in boots!

I bet Minnesota is beautiful in the fall. went there for work in the winter and it was a lovely change from los Angeles, but so cold! would love to see it in different seasons. which do you prefer?

Haha! Yes, if you came here in the winter I’m sure it was super cold. We tend to develop some sort of weird thicker winter skin to handle it, but it’s still rough. The fall is absolutely gorgeous, though. I wouldn’t want to ever miss it.

Great picks! I love that bag, the leather looks so soft and buttery!

  5. Marloes says:

Ooh love this! I’m currently studying abroad much more north then where I live and I cannot believe how excited I am for the cold and snow which is too come haha! The coat is perfect

I hate to admit that summer is going to be gone soon and I also hate to admit that I’m excited for sweater and boots weather!…..but yay :)

  7. Alecia says:

Breanna don’t speak such things, ha! Every year I pray that the snow stays away until Christmas day and every year it comes way too early :(

  8. brianna says:

Colorado has been the same way! I love it too :) I’ve already bought two new pairs of booties and a green army jacket. I really like some of UO options too.

  9. maddie says:

Philadelphia has been bipolar too! But every time the temperatures go up, it makes it that much more exciting when they go down. All I want to do is get a hot cup of coffee and yes, an apple.

  10. Aly says:

Ok I really want that jacket!! Love it!

Love this collection, some really nice picks! I’m pretty excited for Autumn too this year, just hope it sticks around for a while!

  14. Mackenzie says:

I have been looking for a good year for the right military jacket. Found the perfect one over at Madewell, and I love it! Completely worth the wait and money!

  15. I love that coat! And for $55?? That’s a steal! I’ve never heard of SheInside before, have you purchased off their site?

  16. Jensen says:

We’re still in the midst of warm weather over here in California, but hopefully fall will show it’s face soon!

I bought a Barbour jacket earlier this year after being on the hunt for the perfect army jacket for what felt like forever. They’re a little pricey, but SO worth it. And they have a lifetime warranty so you can send it in for some TLC whenever need be. I’ve pretty much worn mine everyday since I got it.

Living in Canada, winters are harsh! I took the plunge a couple of years ago and invested in two pairs of Frye’s and I haven’t looked back since. They are still in impeccable shape and I wear them almost every day.
