I hope that you guys don’t mind me sharing our photos from France in little snippets. It’s certainly been fun for me to look back and kind of savor it all piece by piece. Today, I thought I’d take the time to share some vignettes from our stay. Places in Paris that made us stop + stare and take in all the small details within. The above photo is one of my favorite spots from the whole trip. I have absolutely no idea where it is, and although that’s kind of a bummer … it’s very magical, too. It was one of those moments where we came around the corner and were floored by the view that greeted us. It’s exactly the kind of thing you could expect in Paris. Secret spots.

Oh! And I know our shoes were kind of dirty ( a few photos up ), but to us — they represent all the walking + exploring we did. So a big thank you to our feet for not giving out, because we know they totally could have as we pushed mile after mile after mile. But it was SO worth it to see that much more. I wouldn’t trade it for the world.

aw i love how you traveled paris, with all the exploring and walking and photographing.
i also really enjoy how you are blogging about it in little bits, that’s how i like to share trips and how i’m blogging about my friend’s visit now too.

Aww, thank you so so much! Glad you’re okay with the little bits. I just don’t like overwhelming with too many pictures at once. Plus, it takes me awhile to edit photographs. Oops!!

Looks like you had a BEAUTIFUL time. Paris is such a photogenic city :) so glad you got to enjoy it in clear weather!

I’ve been dreaming about going to France for most of my life. Even took French for two years in high school, a year in college, and two years post-college, but still have never been. I love living vicariously through your photos/recaps from your trip!

Can you still speak french really well!? You should definitely go while the language is more fresh. I took five years of french, but haven’t spoken it for about 6 years ( much ), so all I could manage to do was order food or make transactions when buying things. Bummmmmer!! Totally wish I would have gone directly after or during school. :/

  4. lovely photos! looks like such a fun trip!

I’ve been loving your France trip posts, and I think it’s actually better to share in little bits! That way you don’t miss anything important. My favorite shots so far are the top one and the one of your shoes. I’ve been taking French for two years and speak (mostly) fluent Spanish — and I love foreign languages so much I’m thinking of taking a third! Hopefully I’ll be able to study abroad there soon.

  6. Oh, my! Your posts about Paris are seriously making me put my travel to Japan on hold and start planning a trip to France first. France was always in my plans, but this was something I planned to do in 5+ years from now. But now… now… I wanna go there tomorrow!

  7. *Sigh* I’ve loved these Paris posts from you. They are getting me excited for my own trip this summer!

    What gorgeous photos!

I love that you kept us wanting more, by only giving us snippets here and there – it made us feel like we were in Paris just a little bit longer :)
