Giving Thanks | Breanna Rose

I tend to claim every holiday as my favorite, but really, Thanksgiving is a GOOD one. My grandpa has this octagon ( yes ) table that becomes the center of attention as my family gathers there for literally two days straight, complete with Black Friday ads sprinkled in the middle of us all. We play hours of cards + games, watch funny videos, and indulge in the typical T-Gives meal of endless food. Well, we do bake our stuffing in muffin tins and call it stuffin’ muffins, so that’s different. Only 24 hours separates us from our 2 hour drive west to begin it all and I absolutely cannot wait.

This year, I have so much to be thankful for. We’ve been through a lot of big changes and ups + downs, but I wouldn’t have it any other way. With a new home to finally call our own and the addition of a new puppy, Walter, life has been pretty sweet. I have so many hopes for this next year, but I’ll save that for another day – 2013 isn’t over, after all! With that said, I’m sending you all many happy vibes and hope you have a wonderful week. Because guess what?? I’m oh so thankful for you, too.

  2. That sounds like a dream holiday. Thanks Giving is not something we celebrate in Australia, but I love the idea of being locked up for two days eating and spending time with family. xo

  3. Happy Thanksgiving to you and yours!

  4. happy tday!! eat lots of turkey and pumpkin pie! :)

  5. Thanksgiving is not really a French tradition but I think I’m gonna make it a new thing to celebrate because, come on’ …. the food ! All of your traditional dishes … Yumee.
And the purpose of it all, giving thanx is quite of an honourable excuse to party !
