You know what I love about the top two photographs?? That no matter where you are in the world, there are green trees. They may come in different shades and types, but that doesn’t make one more important than the other. One thing I’ve always done while traveling in a car – ever since I was little – was watch the trees pass in a blur. In Florida, I’m always amazed by the lush tropical greens and tress I don’t even recognize. Up here in the winter, however, it’s a totally different feeling : muted + forest green and neutral colors. It’s what I know and love about this season. I imagine that no matter where you are, though, everyone has their own feeling of home.

I hope you all take time to relax and be with your family & dear friends over the holidays – I know I will be. I’m going to try to make good use of my instax camera + new lens and capture all that I can. I know I’m bad at that, which will hopefully change soon. I may check in with you all here and there before 2013, but who knows. I’m going to soak in as much free time as I can! Have a happy little holiday.

Amazing photos! I don’t even like snow but these are beautiful =) I guess I’m not too fond of the snow because it gets too messy outside with the black ice.. Pretty dangerous!

    Have a wonderful New Year!
