Do you remember how I went down to Arizona last may?? Well, Michael & I are going again! His family has a house down there, so we’re driving their van back down ( so they have it over the fall + winter ) and flying back home. Along the way, we’re stopping in Estes Park, Colorado and Albuquerque. I’m SO pumped for our two stops, each of which are entirely different and beautiful in their own right. A little mountain and desert action in two days sounds perfect. I’m definitely going to relax.

And finally, we’ll be in the Phoenix area for three days where I’m sure I’ll die of heat. Luckily, there’s a pool close by that I’m sure we’ll be hitting up. But do you know what I’m MOST excited for out of everything?? Trying new food. I don’t know how many times I’ve mentioned how much of a foodie I am, but I’m getting all gitty thinking about the places we’ll get to try. Any suggestions or recs would be greatly appreciated. We’re headed off tonight, but I’ll still be around on twitter & instagram sharing bits of what we’re up to!

There are tons of great places to eat out here. I love all the fox restaurant concepts ( I don’t know if you are looking for more hole in the wall type of places but these are fun, good places to eat. Plus being a design nerd, I love the branding that they’ve done for each restaurant. Have fun!

I second Jennifer’s comment on the Fox Restaurant Concepts. Use to date a guy who worked for them so I have been to most of the ones in Tucson and they are all fab. Also enjoy ABQ! My aunt lives there and I love it!!!
