I thought this idea was pretty cool, especially for those of you living in a smaller space over the holiday season. But seriously, anyone could do this. All you need are some pine saplings and something to hold them in. And that’s the fun part!! Mix and match vintage containers, mason jars, or whatever you’d like to get the perfect little arrangement. You can even add pops of red bows, too.

I wish I would have seen these earlier. I already have a small tree and not much space in my studio left, so maybe this will be a next year thing. That’s why I secretly want you all do make something cool like this so I can live vicariously through you. Sound like a plan!?

  1. Oooh what a lovely idea. Seriously, I am baffled by the abundance of creative ideas on the interwebs. ;) I might just have to do this so you can live vicariously through me….ha

I thought this was a good idea too. Just last week the boy and I went out to pick out our christmas tree and I was hoping to pick up some scraps along the way. You’d be surprised how difficult it is to find a bough that is straight! What a nightmare!

I love this! So simple and understated. Much better than the excessive use of tinsel to get in the Christmas spirit. x

Love this idea!!! I never thought to do something like that!
