So … I was going to wait to share one of my latest projects with you all until we had images of the business cards, but I just couldn’t wait. I had the opportunity to work with Jessica Marx, the talent & eye behind J.Marx Atelier, on her branding. She wanted something simple & classy, with a touch of flair. We finally settled on typography that was fun + unique, without sacrificing that “timeless” feel.

And her business cards? Well, they involve some gold foiling and I absolutely cannot wait to share those with you! Soon soon. Plus, turns out I never shared with you all the initial moodboard for this project. Woops! Well, here it is. Cheers to your new look, Jessica!

  1. So beautiful – I love the simplicity + timeless feel of the logo. And you are a master at creating moodboards! :D

I’m a designer who wants to get into print work – so I was wondering, would you recommend finding a printer in town or using an online printer?

Hey Hannah, thank you so much! I made sure to visit a couple local printers – because you never know when you’re going to want to go in for a press check to make sure everything is alright, ya know?? However, sometimes you can score great deals online. As long as they have snippets of work you can see and are great at communicating, I don’t see why online printers would be bad every once in awhile when it’s the best decision!

      Hope that helps. :)

  3. Yeah, that does help – thanks! :D
