Today is the last day in my first apartment with Michael. And technically, there are a billion other things I should be doing than writing a blog post right now, but I found myself playing around with photographs this morning of the past two crazy / busy / fun weeks. Sometimes it’s good just to pause when your to-do list seems endless and impossible, so here I am. This is our life as of late.
I came home late last week to a simple bunch of flowers placed in an old jar and wrapped in twine, put together by Michael himself. Props! Plus, he bought a six pack of Ace Pear Cider for us to share, which has quickly become my favorite thing ever. I’m not a huge fan of beer, so ciders have always been my go to. But other than that, we’ve been enjoying our surroundings before moving into a quiet little neighborhood just outside of MPLS. It’s going to be a big change for us both, but I’m excited to get situated in our new home.
And of course, I can’t forget to mention the GREAT Minnesota get together ( our state fair ) that I stopped by twice. It’s been unbearably hot here, in the mid 90s and feeling like 100+, but that didn’t stop us from heading out for fried pickles and dough-sants. Apparently a little heat doesn’t stop me from pigging out … at least there were frozen wine samples, too. So there you have it – life as of late. I’m off to pack!!
