I have the pleasure of working with an old high school buddy on his upcoming ( and really cool ) new business venture and I couldn’t be more excited. I was really pleased with the results of this moodboard and honestly feel like it’s right up my alley in terms of aesthetics. We’re going for a modern + vintage look. Sure – there are certainly bright and playful colors involved, but we’re going to really explore typography and perhaps patterns / texture to reign in the vintage. This is possibly one of my most favorite aesthetics to design in, so I’m over the moon with this one.

Love the mix of styles and color! Can’t wait to see the final result.

  2. these colors are so beautiful. I’m especially fond of the geometric pattern on the bottom.

  3. The color palette is divine! I love the geometric patterns. They have such a great feel. Looking forward to seeing where this project ends up! :)

  4. I really love the geometric textural image you got going on in the bottom. Reminds me of vintage rock album covers. Get it girl!

Very nice colors! Could you explain in greater detail about what business your friend is starting?

In relation to your other post.. You’re right. When you choose to become a designer, you are taking on so many other responsibilities and playing different roles. I have to conquer all of these things when designing. It can become overwhelming.

    Good luck with it all!

Thank you Carrie! Unfortunately, I can’t share more about this project yet …. it’s stated in my contracts that I don’t reveal information about any given project unless I have consent. Moodboards usually are the most I can share, keeping it anonymous. :)
