I’ve been busy planning how I’d like my future space to look … and it’s become increasingly obvious just how much I love white. White walls, white wood, white accessories – the list goes on and on. We won’t move until this fall, but that doesn’t mean I can’t start dreaming, right?? Here’s the thing : I can open up a blank canvas in Illustrator and have at it on any given day, but interior design is a whole different ballpark that I, quite honestly, struggle with. In the past, I’ve gotten ideas into my head and gone forward without planning much. I’ve realized that I need structure and planning to make anything work. With that said, I’ve started a little google doc with things I’d like to get, aesthetics I enjoy, and have been pinning inspiration like crazy. I promised myself that I wouldn’t dive in too fast … these things take time and patience, which is something I’ve gotta work on!

Every space deserves billy balls! Such a fun and simple way to brighten up a workspace.

You know I wholeheartedly endorse this love of white. White’s the best colour! (To me, anyway. ;)

You already mentioned what I think is the best advice: take things slow. Furnish & decor with intention, not just for the sake of having stuff. Will be worth it in the long run. :)
