Nectar & Green Branding Process | Breanna Rose

I’m pretty pumped to share this branding process with you guys! It’s been a long time coming, but a rewarding experience at that. Laurel came to me with a new business idea for a brick and mortar juice cafe. My first thought was, FUN. And yes. I like juice. It’s always a great moment when inquiries realize the importance of branding and are eager to jump on board. Together, we chatted about concepts and devised a plan for going forward. Like many projects, the initial branding concepts weren’t too crazy different from one another. I had a good idea about where she wanted to go, so the main variations came into play with typography and the use of bold vs thin. While the final result isn’t any of the above, we did use a lot of the elements that you see. And in the end, simplicity was the winner. Currently, we are just about to dive into website design – so more to come on that front. We hope to launch in the spring, which isn’t too far away. More soon!

So beautiful! Can’t wait to see the final product. :)

p.s. How is snowmageddon treating ya? There is literally nowhere to put all this snow!!!

    • breanna says:

Thank you! And the snow is hurting my back, ha. I decided that it may be a good workout to help my fiancĂ© shovel the driveway last night halfway through the storm … but man was it wet + heavy. So today hurts a bit, ha.

  2. In love with all of these designs! The simplicity of them is absolutely gorgeous. Very excited to hear more about the website launch !! What a fun brand to work on!

  3. Vicky says:

Beautiful designs! I especially love the little leaf (did you do a similar desktop wallpaper at one point?) and the “and” in the box. Just lovely!

    • breanna says:

I actually did use that leaf in a free wallpaper just a few weeks ago! We ended up not using that leaf, so I thought I may as well recycle it. :)

  8. Jaclyn says:

Would you be willing to share what the top right typeface is? I am IN LOVE with it, and it’s perfect for something I’m working on!

  9. Kadie says:

  10. Laura says:

Such gorgeous options! I admire your true knack for simplicity. Normally, I’m a sucker for ampersands, but I really love the “and” in the box in the bottom left one. Can’t wait to see more on this project!

Agree with Maggie, great name for a juice shop!

  14. jassy says:

I love the bottom row. They are all great but I love how clean those are. I lean more towards those particular styles. Big font but at the same time it’s not overwhelming. Great job though. It looks great :)

  15. Yuni says:

Oh these are pretty. And omg I’m kinda in love with the first one’s font. What font is that? So lovely!

  16. Angel Y says:

I actually love each and every one of these. This might be my favorite of your projects thus far Breanna. :)

  17. oh! i love all of these options! i can’t wait to see the final result!!!

  19. Fun! Your work is always so clean and lovely :)

  20. scott says:

Yeah, that top right one is killer! Really great work, Breanna

  21. These got me so excited. Love all the variety. What appeals to me the most is the left on first row (estd 2013 written together below ) and the left on second row (with a little smaller leaf design). Can’t wait to see what you went with :))))

  22. Michelle says:

These are all so wonderful! What font did you use for the bottom right one? That teardrop in the a is amazing!
