Process | Design by Rowan Made

It’s been quite awhile since I shared some process shots from current projects with you all. That’s probably because things slowed down over the holidays (as usual) and now everything is quickly busying back up. That said, I should have some more projects to share very shortly! This project, though, was a fun one. My client Barclay is finally at a point in her business where she’s ready to expand + see what happens. The new place is called “Camp On The Doorstep,” where she offers tons of custom knitted goods (think chunky!) that will no doubt be a success. We wanted to create a brand that was a modern contrast to her textured products with room for some sort of illustration, whether it be in the main logo or mark. We ended up expanding on the top left option (above), based on this original moodboard, and have some fun moving parts to go along with it. More soon!

I love all the approaches but I have to say that the top left is also my favorite. Can’t wait to see more work on this project as it continues to develop!

  2. Brilliant, as always. The top left immediately caught my eye, but they’re all really great. I love the color scheme.

  3. Yuni says:

Yes to the top left! But, the logo on the right is also fun. Love the little sheep in it. So adorable! :D

  4. Neha says:

Okay, I’m actually REALLY into this one! I love every single one of those! Super drawn to the clean lines and simplicity of it and love looking back at the moodboard and seeing how you got here from there! Can’t wait to see the final product!

The top left has the camp feeling all over it. But it’s a hard task to choose only one, as always. Barclay chose the most interesting name for her business! :)

I love her brand name too! Works great in badge format. ;) We used a couple different iterations for marks and all that jazz, so we didn’t have to say goodbye to everything!

  7. Amy Luna says:

Love the look of these! My fav is the tree/tent combo :)

  8. marcia says:

I love the one you guys choose as well. it’s absolutely charming!

  9. katrina says:

oh, the sheep, the one with the fluffy sheep! so freakin cuuuuuute.

  10. Laci says:

All of them are adorable but the top left and the one under it are just amazing! love!
