As you know, I’m first and foremost a designer … but I also dabble in the world of development from time to time. Along with my own clients, I’ve also helped out a few of my designer friends as well, so I thought I’d share some of the recent collaborations I’ve been apart of!

The first is Marketa Krivy’s blog, designed by Cassie Pyle who I also collaborate with on a weekly basis for our Branding Backwards series. The design turned out to be so fun + unique, and Cassie is an organized dream to work with. Responds fast and has a beautiful work aesthetic.

The second is A Blog Named Scout designed by Amy Moore. Amy has such a simple eye, which clearly shows in this design. Right up my alley! We’ll be working together more in the future (AND on her own blog) so watch out for that in the next few weeks.

The third is a website for Le Bisou Sweets designed by the lovely Eva Black. Let’s get real : Eva is the queen of textures and it shows in this design. So many fun layers going on in this one! Eva and I will also be working together more in the near future.

And finally, The Life Styled blog, designed by Megan of The Fresh Exchange launched just yesterday. I was so happy to finally collaborate with Megan since she’s apart of so many cool things. And of course, the design was stylish and modern – super fun to get up!

You’re a developing goddess, Bre! So good. I might need to email you for some developing advice sometime. ;)

This is what I would like my blog to look like… Clean, clever and nice. Thank you for the inspiration! And well done!

  4. Kate says:

I loved looking at all of these! I recently had the opportunity to just do the development end of a site and collaborate with another designer, and I really enjoyed it! Sometimes it’s nice to just think in terms of one side of it, instead of worrying about the whole thing.

  5. Eva says:

    YAY! love this!
    thanks for your sweet words!
    you’re amazing.

  6. Lana says:

Great work! Thanks for the intro to some amazing new to me blogs too :)

  7. Jordan says:

I always love your consistant, straight-forward design. Have you done any posts in the past about how you got started in development? I’ve dabbled but haven’t found a good, solid way to progress in my skills.

    Again, great work!
