I’m over on Eva Black’s blog today sharing with you all where I live & work, along with a short interview! We’ve been in our apartment for almost three months now, and I’ve really noticed the lack of space of what I feel is comfortable to work in, for me. Our situation is temporary as Michael finishes up grad school, but I definitely know that I’ll need more than a one – bedroom – 800 – square – foot apartment to feel less stir crazy.

For now, I’ve been changing out & expanding the images above my desk area. It’s important that I work in an environment that inspires me, so those are the little tickets to make it happen! They make it a little easier to ignore the fact that I’m eight feet from our kitchen. To see more of our place, click here and enjoy!

  1. I love your space! It’s super cute and more than I could do with a space!

  2. Did you get your couch from IKEA? That’s the same style I want, with the Chaise on the end. What line was it from? Love the whole space!

  3. Aaron says:

Vanessa and I use the Galant desks from IKEA just because they’re so simple. No drawers, racks, cord holes, etc. I like how compact yours is . Ours are much bigger :)

  4. JP says:

I absolutely love your space, Bre! I looked at the other photos on Eva’s blog (whose work I recently found thanks to you!) and I adore literally everything about it. I can’t wait to finish school and get my own place so I can create something like that!

  5. Noor says:

I really need to make me a space bc I am always back and forth working from the couch, vanity, table, etc and I really do not have my own place. I love your space bc its very clean like my style.

Love your little space! Now, I know your couch isn’t technically a part of your office, but where’s it from?

  7. Emmjaye says:

I’m absolutely in love with your space! It’s so inspiring!! c:

May I know where you get your desktop wallpaper? I’m in the pursuit of happiness!
