Sigh. I love everything about this typographic piece. For all you type lovers out there, you’ll notice that I use Bauer Bodoni a lot. It’s one of my favorites for the variation in thick and thin strokes. One side of the type will be heavy, while the other ultra light. It’s that contrast!!

So when I saw this print, I instantly fell in love. The designer actually got rid of where the thin strokes would theoretically be, which is why I’m so drawn to it. Your eye has to make up the rest of the letters. It. Just. Works.

    I like in theory, but really I had check the link to figure out what the type actually said. (A single bold line can be an I, a L, or an E).
