wantlist / a picnic

The weather in Minnesota is certainly weird. Bi-polar, in fact. Earlier this week, I was all bundled up for fall like temperatures, but today … it’s pushing 90. Hot hot heat. Despite our little September heatwave, I’m perfectly aware of how close the cold weather actually is. So until then, we’ll definitely be taking advantage of our comfortable evenings off work. Michael and I have been doing a lot of yard work lately, but I’ve also been dying to take a walk ( or bike ) the beach near our house for a little picnic!! I put together some items above that I’d love to bring with for said date. Here’s to hoping we have enough beautiful weather left!

I love picnics! My husband and I started our relationship with lots of picnics (we were poor students). So now, for special occasions, we always go back to picnics. When the weather doesn’t cooperate, we have a picnic at home, sitting on the floor and using our coffee table. It is a lot of fun!

Oh my God it’s gonna be FA-REEZING when we move their! I’m 83% scared of a Minneapolis winter.

Haha! Don’t worry, over time you develop thicker Minnesota skin. ;) I love it here, despite the winter!

  3. The weather seems to be all-kinds-of crazy lately! It’s rainy and feels like fall one day and then the next day, it’s 102! I am so ready for the cooler weather. :P Luckily, fall is the PERFECT season for picnics here in California. I love them! And look forward to my picnic dates with the husband here at the capitol park in Sacramento.

It’s been a bit crazy in the UK as well. One moment, hot enough to wear a sleeveless shirt and then the next moment you are rushing for an overcoat! I do hope that it settles down because I’ve got a lovely pair of new boots that I’d quite like to start wearing!
